Google Search Console integration for Model Context Protocol (MCP)
VASTlint is installed from its publisher's own source and answers where it runs, so this marketplace is not in the path of a single call. There is no address here to send one to, and a panel that pretended otherwise would be showing you an answer we made up. Install it and call it from your own client — the Installation tab has the entry for each one.
What it does
Validate VAST, VMAP, and DAAST ad tags against IAB specs. 246 rules, pure Rust core.
Quickstart
# 1 — add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user --transport sse vastlint-mcp https://vastlint.org/mcp
# 2 — ask your agent for something these tools do
# validate_vast, validate_vast_url, inspect_vast and 12 more
VASTlint costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
Collected from a public index. Nobody has claimed this account, so nothing here was written by its author — claim it if it is yours.
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. Nothing here runs on your machine and nothing runs on ours: this server answers at its publisher’s own address, and what you install is the connection straight to it.
This is a public server: it answers at its publisher’s own address and this marketplace is not in the path. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. The transport below is sse, as the publisher's own manifest declares it.
claude mcp add --scope user --transport sse vastlint-mcp https://vastlint.org/mcpReconnect, or start a new session, and the tools appear in the model’s tool list.
One config entry pointing straight at the publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path, and nothing from this listing executes on your machine.
15 tools, with what each one reads, writes and reaches shown before you agree — the same list on every route above. Read the tool surface.

Validate a VAST XML tag against the IAB VAST 2.0-4.3 specification. Returns all issues found with severity, rule ID, location, and spec reference. A document is valid when errors == 0, regardless of warning or info count. Use wrapper_depth when validating a document inside a wrapper chain.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| xml | string | yes | Raw VAST XML string to validate. |
| wrapper_depth | integer | no | Current wrapper chain depth (0 = root document). Default: 0. |
Fetch a VAST tag from a URL and validate it. Handles redirects. Use max_depth to control how deep wrapper chains are followed (default 5, per IAB VAST 4.x recommendation). AI agents typically receive VAST URLs rather than raw XML -- use this tool for that case.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| url | string | yes | URL of a VAST tag to fetch and validate. |
| max_depth | integer | no | Maximum wrapper chain depth to follow. Default: 5 (IAB VAST 4.x recommendation). |
Follow a VAST wrapper chain from a URL, fetching and validating every hop. Returns each hop as a structured object: AdSystem, AdTitle, Duration, impression count, tracking event count, media files (with MIME type, dimensions, bitrate, URL), companion count, and per-hop validation issues. The final InLine hop contains the actual creative. Use this to debug wrapper chains, verify creative assets, or
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| url | string | yes | URL of the first VAST tag in the chain to inspect. |
| max_depth | integer | no | Maximum wrapper hops to follow before stopping. Default: 5 (IAB VAST 4.x recommendation). |
List the full catalog of VAST validation rules available in vastlint. Returns rule IDs, default severities, and descriptions. Call this once and cache the result -- the catalog is static. Use rule IDs from this list with explain_rule for full details and fix guidance.
No parameter schema on file.
Get full details for a specific VAST validation rule: description, spec reference, severity, what triggers it, and how to fix it. Use rule IDs from list_rules. This is the primary tool for understanding and fixing VAST issues flagged by validate_vast.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| rule_id | string | yes | Rule ID to explain, e.g. "VAST-4.1-adservingid-missing". Use list_rules to get valid IDs. |
Auto-fix a VAST XML tag. Applies all deterministic, safe fixes: HTTP → HTTPS upgrades in all URL-bearing elements, and removal of deprecated attributes. Returns the repaired XML, a list of every fix applied (rule ID + description + path), and any remaining issues that require manual intervention. Always re-validate the returned xml with validate_vast to confirm no errors remain.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| xml | string | yes | Raw VAST XML string to auto-fix. |
| wrapper_depth | integer | no | Current wrapper chain depth (0 = root document). Default: 0. |
AdCP protocol discovery. Returns the AdCP version, supported protocols, and governance capabilities of this vastlint agent. Call this first when integrating vastlint into an AdCP creative pipeline — it declares which VAST creative features can be evaluated (spec compliance, HTTPS enforcement, wrapper depth). Part of the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP 3.0) specification.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| adcp_major_version | integer | no | AdCP major version the caller's payloads conform to. When omitted, assumes highest supported version (3). |
| protocols | array | no | Filter to specific protocol names. When omitted, returns all supported protocols. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Lists content governance standards. When called with an 'account' object, returns buyer-defined standards stored for that brand. Without an account, returns the built-in catalog of VAST-relevant standards. Supports cursor-based pagination via the 'pagination' object. Requires Bearer authentication: Authorization: Bearer <api_key>.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | no | Buyer account context (brand domain + operator). |
| pagination | object | no | Cursor-based pagination controls. Preferred over top-level max_results/page_token. |
| max_results | integer | no | Legacy top-level alias. |
| page_token | string | no | Legacy top-level alias. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Creates a new set of content quality policies for a brand. Policies include brand safety rules, imagery quality requirements, and compliance constraints. Returns a standards_id that can be used with calibrate_content and validate_content_delivery. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | yes | Buyer account that owns this content standard (brand domain required). |
| scope | object | no | Optional scope constraints: restrict policies to specific languages or channels. |
| policies | array | yes | Array of content quality policies. Each policy has an ID, enforcement level (must/should/may), and natural-language rule text. |
| idempotency_key | string | no | Optional unique key to make this request idempotent. Re-submitting the same key returns the original result without creating a duplicate. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Retrieves the full details of a specific content standard, including all policies and their enforcement levels. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | no | Buyer account context. Scopes the lookup to a specific brand. |
| standards_id | string | yes | ID of the content standard set to retrieve. Returned by create_content_standards. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Updates the policies on an existing content standard set. The supplied policies array replaces the existing policy set. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | no | Buyer account context. Scopes the update to a specific brand. |
| standards_id | string | yes | ID of the content standard set to update. Returned by create_content_standards. |
| policies | array | yes | Replacement policy array. Fully replaces the existing policies on the standard set. |
| idempotency_key | string | no | Optional unique key to make this request idempotent. Re-submitting the same key returns the original result without creating a duplicate. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Permanently removes a content standard set. Callers relying on the standards_id for calibrate_content or validate_content_delivery should retire those integrations first. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | no | Buyer account context. Scopes the deletion to a specific brand. |
| standards_id | string | yes | ID of the content standard set to delete. Returned by create_content_standards. |
| idempotency_key | string | no | Optional unique key to make this request idempotent. Re-submitting the same key returns the original result instead of re-evaluating a since-changed state. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP content-standards specialism. Evaluates a creative artifact against a content standard set before delivery. Returns a per-policy verdict and an overall pass/fail result. Use this as a pre-flight check before launching a campaign. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| account | object | no | Buyer account context. Scopes the evaluation to a specific brand. |

| standards_id | string | yes | ID of the content standard set to validate delivery against. Returned by create_content_standards. |
| records | array | yes | Delivery records to validate. Each record references a creative artifact that was delivered. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
AdCP creative governance. Lists creatives known to this agent. For a validation-only agent like vastlint, this always returns an empty collection — creatives are validated on demand via validate_vast rather than stored. Requires Bearer authentication.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| max_results | integer | no | Maximum number of creatives to return per page. |
| page_token | string | no | Opaque pagination cursor. |
| context | object | no | Caller-supplied context object. Echoed back unchanged in the response. |
- Every tool — any call limit is its publisher’s, not ours
- No card, and mcprush charges nothing for it
- Runs at its publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path
- Nothing to cap, because mcprush bills nothing
What counts against your monthly calls
| Tool | Unit | Calls used | Out of the allowance |
|---|
Nothing here is billable: mcprush charges nothing to install VASTlint or to call it, at any volume.
Two independent axes, because powerful and malicious are different questions. The grade is threat only. The capability level is blast radius, and it is never a penalty on the grade — it is priced as one subtract-only term in the score, where you can see it.
This listing is an address its publisher runs, and you connect to it directly — this marketplace is not in the path. The scanner reads packages and public source, and an address is neither: the repository linked on this page is where this record was collected from, not a copy of what the address serves, so it is not graded in its place. So there is no grade — not a withheld one, an unmeasured one.
Release history
This is an address its publisher runs: which release it serves is theirs to choose, so there is nothing here to pin. The history below is for reading; the current release on file is 0.15.0.
No release note was published with this version.
One review per account, from a signed-in account that does not publish this listing. Nothing else is asked — you can say what you think before you install it. Publishers can reply once per review, and a review can be edited or deleted by whoever wrote it.
Any signed-in account that does not publish VASTlint can review it, once — before installing it or after. A review from an account that has installed it is marked as one.
Nobody has reviewed this listing. The rating on the card is the mean of the reviews written here and nothing else, so there is no rating until somebody writes the first — which takes a signed-in account that does not publish it, and nothing else.
