Why us
Most MCP sites are indexes: they tell you a server exists and step out of the way. We stand in the path of the call — which is what lets us meter it, refuse it before it costs anything, and print figures that were measured rather than supplied — and, when a publisher would rather not run anything, to host the server ourselves behind the same address. Everything below about anybody else was read from their own site on 13 August 2026.

How a call is answered
six checks, in the order the code runs themEverything from the suspension check onward is written to a call log both sides can read. A refusal that happens before we know whose key it is — a malformed body, an unknown listing — is answered without a log line, because there is no account to write it against.
What you can read before you install
on every listing, without an accountThree ways to ship a server
the split is 88/12 in all threeShip source or a package. It installs from your own address and costs you nothing — the scan and the grade are free on every plan.
We mint the token your server checks, meter the calls, enforce the plan and stop them when a subscription ends.
Hand us the server at publication and we run it behind its listing. Same gateway address, same install command, same split.
A price needs the gateway in the path — that is what makes a cancelled subscription actually stop and an allowance countable — so a paid listing is either your endpoint or ours. Free listings can be any of the three.
Questions people ask
Why is most of the catalogue imported?
Why do some listings show no calls or latency?
Does a good grade mean a server is safe?
Do you run my server for me?
What does the 12% pay for?
Why trust a comparison written by one of the nine?
Take the grade, with or without the gateway
If your servers are open source and free, the scan costs you nothing and the listing stays yours to claim. If you sell, the gateway is what makes a cancelled subscription actually stop.
