Comprehensive Model Context Protocol server for managing Home Assistant through AI assistants.
Capitolguide is installed from its publisher's own source and answers where it runs, so this marketplace is not in the path of a single call. There is no address here to send one to, and a panel that pretended otherwise would be showing you an answer we made up. Install it and call it from your own client — the Installation tab has the entry for each one.
What it does
Navigate the U.S. Capitol complex: decode room codes, route buildings, check access, amenities.
Quickstart
# 1 — add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http capitolguide-mcp https://capitol.guide/mcp
# 2 — ask your agent for something these tools do
# capitolguide_prep, overview, find_room and 6 more
Capitolguide costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
Collected from a public index. Nobody has claimed this account, so nothing here was written by its author — claim it if it is yours.
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. Nothing here runs on your machine and nothing runs on ours: this server answers at its publisher’s own address, and what you install is the connection straight to it.
This is a public server: it answers at its publisher’s own address and this marketplace is not in the path. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. The transport below is http, as the publisher's own manifest declares it.
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http capitolguide-mcp https://capitol.guide/mcpReconnect, or start a new session, and the tools appear in the model’s tool list.
One config entry pointing straight at the publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path, and nothing from this listing executes on your machine.
9 tools, with what each one reads, writes and reaches shown before you agree — the same list on every route above. Read the tool surface.
Tool surface
What the model actually sees. Descriptions are diffed on every release — see version history.
Pre-flight readiness check. Run before any other tool. Verifies secrets, KV, DB connectivity, and KB version + freshness. Returns a structured readiness report.
No parameter schema on file.
Operational snapshot for the caller's tenant: KB version + freshness, queue depths (itineraries / draft meetings / active nudges), and the recent tool-invocation tail. Read-only.
No parameter schema on file.
Find a Capitol office by ROOM CODE (e.g. 'SH-217', '2310 Rayburn', '167 Russell', 'H-232'), by MEMBER NAME (e.g. 'Cornyn', 'Ted Cruz', 'Womack'), or by COMMITTEE ('Senate Judiciary', 'Ways and Means', 'House Armed Services'). A room code returns the decoded location plus who currently holds it; a name returns that member's current office; a committee returns its office / principal hearing room. Me
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| query | string | yes | A room code/address, or a member's name |
Turn-by-turn directions between two points in the Capitol complex. Each point can be a room code, a building name, OR a Metro station / landmark (e.g. 'Capitol South Metro' → '2412 Rayburn', 'Union Station' → '517 Hart', or to the 'Supreme Court' / 'Library of Congress'). Returns an ordered step list with mode (walk/tunnel/subway), minutes, and a flag wherever you re-clear security. Set accessible
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| from | string | yes | Origin: room code, building name, or Metro station / landmark (e.g. 'Capitol South Metro') |
| to | string | yes | Destination: room code, building name, or Metro station / landmark |
| accessible | boolean | no | Prefer a step-free / accessible route |
Step-free / accessible directions between two points in the Capitol complex by mobility profile (wheelchair, limited_mobility, stroller, low_vision). Routes over elevators/ramps only, avoids stairs, and surfaces OCAS accommodation contacts. Use this instead of route_between when step-free matters.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| from | string | yes | Origin: room code, building name, or Metro station / landmark (e.g. 'Union Station') |
| to | string | yes | Destination: room code, building name, or Metro station / landmark |

What access a visitor needs for a zone of the Capitol complex: (visitor_type × zone) → allowed?, credential, escort, lead time, required docs, security entrance, and the granting authority. INFORMS, never grants — final authority is the member office / Capitol Police / Secret Service. Rules are volatile and live-source-stamped.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| visitor_type | string | yes | Who is visiting |
| zone | string | yes | Which area of the complex |
Nearest restroom, exit, and food for a specific point — a room code (floor-specific, e.g. the exact nearest bathroom to SH-217), a building name, or GPS coordinates {lat, lon}. Returns specific named venues ranked by distance.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| location | string | no | Room code or building name |
| lat | number | no | Latitude (e.g. from device GPS) — pair with lon |
| lon | number | no | Longitude — pair with lat |
What you cannot bring into an area of the Capitol complex (security screening). zone: 'capitol_cvc' (the Capitol + Visitor Center — strictest, no food/water), 'gallery' (House/Senate galleries — no phones/cameras), or 'office_building' (the 6 office buildings — food & drink allowed). Always returns the universal weapon/hazard bans too. Volatile — live-source-stamped; confirm at visitthecapitol.gov
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |

| zone | string | yes | Which area you're entering |
Optimize a multi-meeting Hill day. Give a list of meetings (each a member name or room code, with an optional time like '10:30a'). Returns a sequenced itinerary: batched by chamber side to minimize cross-campus crossings, the route + minutes between each stop, the cross-campus window flagged, 'leave-by' times when meetings are timed, and warnings for connections too tight to make.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| meetings | array | yes | — |
| accessible | boolean | no | Plan step-free routes |
- Every tool — any call limit is its publisher’s, not ours
- No card, and mcprush charges nothing for it
- Runs at its publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path
- Nothing to cap, because mcprush bills nothing
What counts against your monthly calls
| Tool | Unit | Calls used | Out of the allowance |
|---|
Nothing here is billable: mcprush charges nothing to install Capitolguide or to call it, at any volume.
Two independent axes, because powerful and malicious are different questions. The grade is threat only. The capability level is blast radius, and it is never a penalty on the grade — it is priced as one subtract-only term in the score, where you can see it.
This listing is an address its publisher runs, and you connect to it directly — this marketplace is not in the path. The scanner reads packages and public source, and an address is neither. So there is no grade — not a withheld one, an unmeasured one.
Release history
This is an address its publisher runs: which release it serves is theirs to choose, so there is nothing here to pin. The history below is for reading; the current release on file is 0.1.0.
No release note was published with this version.
One review per account, from a signed-in account that does not publish this listing. Nothing else is asked — you can say what you think before you install it. Publishers can reply once per review, and a review can be edited or deleted by whoever wrote it.
Any signed-in account that does not publish Capitolguide can review it, once — before installing it or after. A review from an account that has installed it is marked as one.
Nobody has reviewed this listing. The rating on the card is the mean of the reviews written here and nothing else, so there is no rating until somebody writes the first — which takes a signed-in account that does not publish it, and nothing else.
