Server providing Argo CD integration for MCP clients.
Rust Junosmcp is installed from its publisher's own source and answers where it runs, so this marketplace is not in the path of a single call. There is no address here to send one to, and a panel that pretended otherwise would be showing you an answer we made up. Install it and call it from your own client — the Installation tab has the entry for each one.
What it does
Juniper Junos/SRX MCP server: scoped, audited, two-person change control. Rust.
Quickstart
# 1 — add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user rust-junosmcp '--' docker run -i --rm ghcr.io/mechubsec/rustjunosmcp --transport stdio
# 2 — ask your agent for something these tools do
# get_device_list, get_router_list, gather_device_facts and 25 more
Rust Junosmcp costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
Collected from a public index. Nobody has claimed this account, so nothing here was written by its author — claim it if it is yours.
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. This one runs on your machine: your client starts Rust Junosmcp as a process under your own user, with your files and your network, so the tool surface below is what it can do to your computer rather than to a server somewhere else. It has not been scanned here, so read the surface, and its source, before you approve it.
This is a public server: you run it yourself and this marketplace is not in the path. You need Docker installed and running. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. The '--' is in quotes so that PowerShell passes it on.
claude mcp add --scope user rust-junosmcp '--' docker run -i --rm ghcr.io/mechubsec/rustjunosmcp --transport stdioReconnect, or start a new session, and the tools appear in the model’s tool list.
One config entry your client uses to start the process locally. A local server runs with your file system and your network, which is why it is priced without metering.
28 tools, with what each one reads, writes and reaches shown before you agree — the same list on every route above. Read the tool surface.

What the model actually sees. Descriptions are diffed on every release — see version history.
Get the Junos devices visible to this caller. Returns [] when the caller's device scope has no current inventory matches.
No parameter schema on file.
DEPRECATED: Use get_device_list instead. Get the Junos routers visible to this caller. Returns [] when the caller's router scope has no current inventory matches.

Gather Junos device facts from the device. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos type-9 reversibly-encrypted secrets, PSKs, SNMP communities, RADIUS/TACACS secrets, and similar) are replaced before being returned; structure, hostnames, and non-secret values are…

Execute a Junos command on the device. Supports optional max_lines/max_bytes/tail output caps, and honors trailing '| last N' / '| count'. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos type-9 reversibly-encrypted secrets, PSKs, SNMP communities, RADIUS/TACACS secrets, and…

Get the configuration of the device. Returns the full running config by default. Pass config_path (also accepted as 'filter'; e.g. 'system services', 'security policies', 'interfaces ge-0/0/0') to retrieve only a subtree, reducing token usage and limiting exposure to secrets the caller did not ask…

Get the configuration diff against a rollback version. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos type-9 reversibly-encrypted secrets, PSKs, SNMP communities, RADIUS/TACACS secrets, and similar) are replaced before being returned; structure, hostnames, and non-secret…

Load and commit configuration on a Junos device. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos type-9 reversibly-encrypted secrets, PSKs, SNMP communities, RADIUS/TACACS secrets, and similar) are replaced before being returned; structure, hostnames, and non-secret values…

Validate a candidate configuration on a Junos device without committing (commit check). Loads config into a candidate, runs commit-check, returns {success, diff, error?}, then discards the candidate. Never activates config. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos…
No parameter schema on file.
Discard uncommitted candidate configuration changes on a Junos device (rollback 0), returning the candidate to the running config. Never changes the running config. Use to recover a candidate left dirty (e.g. 'configuration database modified'). Output is redacted: config values matching known…

Load a Junos rollback archive (rollback N, 0-49) into the candidate. Preview mode (commit=false, default): loads, diffs, discards — stateless and safe. Commit mode (commit=true): loads and commits, CHANGING THE RUNNING CONFIGURATION and potentially disrupting connectivity; supports…

Send the confirming commit for a commit-confirmed window opened by load_and_commit_config, rollback_config, or render_and_apply_j2_template (not apply_junos_change_set — use confirm_junos_change_set for that). Cancels the device's pending automatic rollback. A harmless no-op commit if no window is…

Execute a single PFE-shell command on one device via 'request pfe execute target <fpc> command "<cmd>"'. Supports optional max_lines/max_bytes/tail output caps, and honors trailing '| last N' / '| count'. Output is redacted: config values matching known secret patterns (Junos type-9…

Run N operational CLI commands across M devices, parallel across devices, sequential per device. Returns a per-device array of {command, ok, value?, error?} entries. Supports optional max_lines/max_bytes/tail output caps, and honors trailing '| last N' / '| count'. Output is redacted: config…

Render a Jinja2 template (inline) with JSON vars. Optionally commit the rendered config to one or more devices; supports dry-run. (YAML vars are no longer accepted as of v0.5.2.)

Add a Junos device to the in-memory inventory and persist to devices.json. Required fields: device_name, device_ip, username, auth (ssh_key or password). port defaults to 22. With clients that advertise elicitation, missing fields are prompted; otherwise the call returns MissingArguments.
No parameter schema on file.
Reload the inventory. With no args, re-reads the current --device-mapping. With file_name, swaps to a new inventory file. Reports added/removed/changed device names.
No parameter schema on file.
Push a local file from the staging dir to /var/tmp/ on a Junos device via SCP. Idempotent on matching SHA-256.
No parameter schema on file.
Download a file from a Junos device's /var/tmp/<basename> to the host staging directory, with sha256 verification. Mirror of transfer_file.

DESTRUCTIVE: installs a new Junos image and REBOOTS the device. Outage ~5-7 min. Requires confirm=true to proceed; first call with confirm=false returns a ConfirmationRequired error containing the upgrade plan (current version, target version, image, free disk, estimated outage). v1 supports…

List host-staging files (always); also lists /var/tmp/ on a Junos device when device is supplied

Create a change set (plan) for two-person approval workflow. Returns a change_set_id and plan_digest. The plan must be approved by a second principal before it can be applied.
No parameter schema on file.
Approve a change set created by a different principal. The approver must provide the exact plan digest to confirm they reviewed the plan. After approval, the owner can apply the change set.
No parameter schema on file.
Cancel a Planned or Approved change set, freeing the per-principal pending slot. The caller must be either the owner or have approver authority. Idempotent: already-Cancelled sets return success. Rejects Applied/Applying sets.
No parameter schema on file.
Apply an approved change set to the device. The change set must have been approved by a second principal, and the device fingerprint must match the expected state. When confirm_timeout_mins is set, the change set stays 'applied' regardless of whether the confirming commit arrives; use…
No parameter schema on file.
Confirm a provisional commit made with confirm_timeout_mins, cancelling the device's automatic rollback. Must be called by the principal that applied the change set, before the rollback deadline returned by apply_junos_change_set.
No parameter schema on file.
Read the device's candidate-configuration fingerprint. Use this first: create_junos_change_set requires the fingerprint so the plan is bound to the exact candidate it was reviewed against. This is a read; it takes no lock and does not modify the candidate.
No parameter schema on file.
Get the status of a change set. 'Applied' means the apply was executed and staged - NOT that the configuration is still live on the device. commit_confirmation, when present, reports awaiting_confirmation (a confirm window is open; rollback_deadline_unix carries the deadline),…
No parameter schema on file.
List change sets, optionally filtered by device. Returns all change sets (planned, approved, applied, expired, failed) across devices in scope, or for a single device if specified. Provides the recovery path when an expired change set blocks creating a new one.

- Nothing to cap, because mcprush bills nothing
What counts against your monthly calls

Nothing here is billable: mcprush charges nothing to install Rust Junosmcp or to call it, at any volume.
Two independent axes, because powerful and malicious are different questions. The grade is threat only. The capability level is blast radius, and it is never a penalty on the grade — it is priced as one subtract-only term in the score, where you can see it.
This listing ships as a container image. The scanner reads packages on npm and PyPI and public source; an image is neither, so there is no grade here — not a withheld one, an unmeasured one.
Release history
It installs from a container image rather than from a versioned package, so the command cannot be pinned to a release. The history below is for reading; the current release on file is 0.27.4.
No release note was published with this version.
One review per account, from a signed-in account that does not publish this listing. Nothing else is asked — you can say what you think before you install it. Publishers can reply once per review, and a review can be edited or deleted by whoever wrote it.
Any signed-in account that does not publish Rust Junosmcp can review it, once — before installing it or after. A review from an account that has installed it is marked as one.
Nobody has reviewed this listing. The rating on the card is the mean of the reviews written here and nothing else, so there is no rating until somebody writes the first — which takes a signed-in account that does not publish it, and nothing else.
