Comprehensive Model Context Protocol server for managing Home Assistant through AI assistants.
Commutescout is installed from its publisher's own source and answers where it runs, so this marketplace is not in the path of a single call. There is no address here to send one to, and a panel that pretended otherwise would be showing you an answer we made up. Install it and call it from your own client — the Installation tab has the entry for each one.
What it does
Live road conditions in 37 US states: incidents, closures, chain controls, cameras, wildfires.
Quickstart
# 1 — add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http commutescout-mcp https://mcp.commutescout.com/mcp
# 2 — ask your agent for something these tools do
# check_route, check_region, get_incidents and 7 more
Commutescout costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
Collected from a public index. Nobody has claimed this account, so nothing here was written by its author — claim it if it is yours.
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. Nothing here runs on your machine and nothing runs on ours: this server answers at its publisher’s own address, and what you install is the connection straight to it.
This is a public server: it answers at its publisher’s own address and this marketplace is not in the path. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. The transport below is http, as the publisher's own manifest declares it.
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http commutescout-mcp https://mcp.commutescout.com/mcpReconnect, or start a new session, and the tools appear in the model’s tool list.
One config entry pointing straight at the publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path, and nothing from this listing executes on your machine.
10 tools, with what each one reads, writes and reaches shown before you agree — the same list on every route above. Read the tool surface.

Check current conditions along a major California highway corridor. The flagship trip-check tool: give it a start and end place and it returns everything active along that stretch right now - CHP incidents, lane closures physically in place, chain controls, and wildfires within ~10 miles - ordered by miles from the start, plus a summary. ALWAYS pass from_coords and to_coords

Full current-conditions report for a California region. Use this for area-scale questions ("how is the Bay Area?", "what's happening in SoCal?") instead of stitching together point queries. It sweeps every source over the whole region at once: CHP incidents (severity-sorted, worst first), lane closures in place (full closures called out), chain controls, and wildfires inside t

Live CHP traffic incidents statewide, optionally filtered. Data: the California Highway Patrol statewide computer-aided dispatch feed - collisions, traffic hazards, disabled vehicles, closures as CHP logs them. Refreshes about once a minute; incidents disappear when CHP closes the log. Fetched live on every call. Filters (combinable): - highway: a route like "I-80", "US 5

Caltrans lane and road closures physically in place RIGHT NOW. Data: the Caltrans Lane Closure System (LCS). Only closures that crews have actually established (CHP code 1097) and not yet picked up are returned - scheduled-but-not-started closures are excluded, so this is "what is blocking lanes now", not a construction calendar. Current chain-control requirements on California mountain highways. Data: Caltrans chain-control status for fixed checkpoints on mountain routes (I-80 Donner, US-50 Echo Summit, SR-88, SR-89, and others). Levels: R-1 = chains OR snow tires required; R-2 = chains required except 4WD/AWD with snow tires on all four; R-3 = chains on ALL vehicles (rare, usually precedes closure).

Active California wildfires, flagged when close to a major highway. Data: the interagency WFIGS current-wildfire feed (NIFC) - name, size in acres, percent contained, discovery date. Points are each fire's ORIGIN, not its perimeter: a large fire can affect roads far from this point. Refresh: 5-minute cache; size/containment typically update once or twice a day. Small, fast-mov

Which major corridors have the most going on right now. Answers broad questions like "what are the busiest routes", "where is traffic worst", or "which highways should I avoid today" across all 17 tracked corridors. by="activity" ranks on live events (full closures weigh most, then incidents, lane closures, chain controls); by="congestion" ranks on measured speed vs free-flow

Live Caltrans roadside camera snapshots near a point or on a route. Data: ~3,000 in-service Caltrans cameras statewide. Every returned image_url was verified live moments ago (offline cameras that serve a placeholder frame are filtered out), so images can be shown directly. Snapshots refresh roughly every minute; stream_url (when present) is an HLS video stream. Filters:

What Caltrans changeable message signs are displaying right now. Data: statewide CMS sign text, blank and out-of-service signs already filtered - every record is a message a driver is physically seeing. Signs carry the road's operational truth ("CHAINS REQUIRED 10 MI AHEAD", "FULL CLOSURE HWY 96 DUE TO FIRE", "PREPARE TO STOP"), often before the event shows up in any other fee

Live road events near a point anywhere CommuteScout covers, not just California: 37 states today, growing. - No card, and mcprush charges nothing for it
- Runs at its publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path
- Nothing to cap, because mcprush bills nothing
What counts against your monthly calls
| Tool | Unit | Calls used | Out of the allowance |

Nothing here is billable: mcprush charges nothing to install Commutescout or to call it, at any volume.
Two independent axes, because powerful and malicious are different questions. The grade is threat only. The capability level is blast radius, and it is never a penalty on the grade — it is priced as one subtract-only term in the score, where you can see it.
This listing is an address its publisher runs, and you connect to it directly — this marketplace is not in the path. The scanner reads packages and public source, and an address is neither: the repository linked on this page is where this record was collected from, not a copy of what the address serves, so it is not graded in its place. So there is no grade — not a withheld one, an unmeasured one.
Release history
This is an address its publisher runs: which release it serves is theirs to choose, so there is nothing here to pin. The history below is for reading; the current release on file is 2.126.1.
No release note was published with this version.
One review per account, from a signed-in account that does not publish this listing. Nothing else is asked — you can say what you think before you install it. Publishers can reply once per review, and a review can be edited or deleted by whoever wrote it.
Any signed-in account that does not publish Commutescout can review it, once — before installing it or after. A review from an account that has installed it is marked as one.
Nobody has reviewed this listing. The rating on the card is the mean of the reviews written here and nothing else, so there is no rating until somebody writes the first — which takes a signed-in account that does not publish it, and nothing else.
