What it does

Guardrails belong in the server, not the prompt.
Telling an agent "don't do that" is a suggestion. mcp-gatehouse makes it a rule. The server decides what an agent can call, what has to wait for a human, and what gets recorded, so safety doesn't depend on the model behaving.
Permission tiers: Group tools by risk. Read-only lookups run freely, while writes and destructive actions need a higher level of trust.
Approval gates: High-risk calls pause until a person signs off. The agent can't talk its way past the gate.
Audit logging: Every tool call is recorded, including what was requested, who approved it, and what happened.
Built for teams putting agents into real operations like logistics, distribution, and field services, where one wrong write costs real money.
Built and maintained by Nick George, who designs MCP servers and AI agents for operators. More at nickgeorgeai.com

Gatehouse costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
