Brave Search MCP Server: web results, images, videos, rich results, AI summaries, and more.
Pure Report — Neutral News is installed from its publisher's own source and answers where it runs, so this marketplace is not in the path of a single call. There is no address here to send one to, and a panel that pretended otherwise would be showing you an answer we made up. Install it and call it from your own client — the Installation tab has the entry for each one.
What it does
Neutral, bias-scored news for AI agents: compare left/right media-bias framing, fact-check receipts.
Quickstart
# 1 — add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http pure-report-neutral-news-mcp https://pure.report/mcp
# 2 — ask your agent for something these tools do
# search_news, trending_events, get_event and 5 more
Pure Report — Neutral News costs nothing on mcprush: there is no plan to choose here, no cap to set and nothing mcprush can bill you for.
Collected from a public index. Nobody has claimed this account, so nothing here was written by its author — claim it if it is yours.
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. Nothing here runs on your machine and nothing runs on ours: this server answers at its publisher’s own address, and what you install is the connection straight to it.
This is a public server: it answers at its publisher’s own address and this marketplace is not in the path. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. The transport below is http, as the publisher's own manifest declares it.
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http pure-report-neutral-news-mcp https://pure.report/mcpReconnect, or start a new session, and the tools appear in the model’s tool list.
One config entry pointing straight at the publisher’s own address — this marketplace is not in the path, and nothing from this listing executes on your machine.

Search Pure Report's neutral, bias-scored news. Returns articles rewritten to remove loaded language; bias_score (0-100) rates the ORIGINAL source reporting before neutralization (0 = wire-neutral, 100 = advocacy), NOT the returned rewrite, which is neutral by design. Each result also lists the event(s) it belongs to — pass an event slug to get_event for the neutral writeup or compare_coverage for
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| query | string | yes | Keywords or phrase, e.g. "Iran sanctions" or "2026 election". |
| topic | string | no | Optional topic-slug filter. An unrecognized value searches all topics and returns a warning. |
| limit | integer | no | Max results to RETURN, 1-40 (default 15). Does not affect total_matches, which always reports how many articles matched. |
| offset | integer | no | Skip this many matches — page through results beyond the 40-row limit. The response echoes offset/returned/next_offset; next_offset is null on the last page. |
| published_after | string | no | Only articles published on/after this date. 'YYYY-MM-DD' or full ISO. Use with published_before to bound a period, e.g. coverage during June. |
| published_before | string | no | Only articles published on/before this date. 'YYYY-MM-DD' or full ISO. |
List the news events with the most current coverage activity. Each event clusters many outlets' articles about one story and includes headline (the published story's headline, else the event name), has_story (get_event returns Pure Report's neutral news story) and has_account (get_event also returns a sentence-cited account with verbatim receipts). Returns slugs to pass to get_event / compare_cove
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| limit | integer | no | Max events, 1-25 (default 10). |
Get the full neutral writeup of one news event by slug: 'story', Pure Report's own neutral news story (headline + paragraphs, written from the outlets' reports and checked before publishing); 'account', a sentence-cited breakdown (lede, what-we-know bullets with verbatim source receipts, single-source attributed items) when one passed its gates; and a coverage census (how many outlets by political
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| slug | string | yes | Event slug from trending_events or a search_news result, e.g. "tyler-robinson-trial-for-charlie-kirk-murder". |
Show how outlets across the political spectrum framed one event: a per-outlet bias-score spectrum and, where they editorialized, the verbatim framing quotes grouped by left/center/right. The core 'compare the coverage' view — use it to detect slant and consensus.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| slug | string | yes | Event slug from trending_events or a search_news result. |
Fetch one article by id: neutral rewritten title + body, a bias_score for the ORIGINAL source (not the rewrite), source, extracted entities, and the events it belongs to.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| article_id | integer | yes | Numeric article id (from search_news results). |
How Pure Report works — the bias scale, neutralization method, the two-gate verification for event accounts, lean labeling, coverage scope (topic list), and the support contact. Call this to cite the source or explain its methodology to a user.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| report_subject | string | no | Optional. Providing this (with report_body) files feedback and returns a ref under "filed" — use only if submit_feedback is missing from your tools. |
| report_body | string | no | Optional. The detail needed to act. |
| report_kind | string | no | Optional, defaults to bug. |
| article_id | integer | no | Optional context for the report. |
| event_slug | string | no | Optional context for the report. |
Report a problem or request to Pure Report's operator and get a tracking ref back. Use this when the data looks wrong — a bias score or outlet lean that doesn't match the source, an event cluster mixing unrelated stories, a missing neutral writeup, a broken article — or to ask a methodology question or request a capability. Include the article_id or event_slug you were looking at; that context is
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| category | string | no | bug = broken or erroring; dx = developer-experience friction; data_error = wrong/miscategorised data; data_gap = missing coverage or field; feature = a capability request; question = methodology or us |
| subject | string | yes | One line, max 200 chars. |
| body | string | yes | The detail needed to act: what you expected, what you got, and how to reproduce it. Max 12000 chars. |
| article_id | integer | no | Optional article the report concerns. |
| event_slug | string | no | Optional event slug the report concerns. |
| kind | string | no | DEPRECATED alias for category; still accepted. |
Look up feedback you filed with submit_feedback, using the ref it returned (e.g. PR-7F3K2Q). Returns the current status (open, answered, closed) and the operator's reply once one exists. Replies are written by a human and are not immediate — poll sparingly, on the order of hours or days, not seconds.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ref | string | yes | The ref from submit_feedback, e.g. 'PR-7F3K2Q'. |

What counts against your monthly calls
| Tool | Unit | Calls used | Out of the allowance |

Nothing here is billable: mcprush charges nothing to install Pure Report — Neutral News or to call it, at any volume.
Two independent axes, because powerful and malicious are different questions. The grade is threat only. The capability level is blast radius, and it is never a penalty on the grade — it is priced as one subtract-only term in the score, where you can see it.
This listing is an address its publisher runs, and you connect to it directly — this marketplace is not in the path. The scanner reads packages and public source, and an address is neither. So there is no grade — not a withheld one, an unmeasured one.
Release history
This is an address its publisher runs: which release it serves is theirs to choose, so there is nothing here to pin. The history below is for reading; the current release on file is 1.0.2.
No release note was published with this version.
One review per account, from a signed-in account that does not publish this listing. Nothing else is asked — you can say what you think before you install it. Publishers can reply once per review, and a review can be edited or deleted by whoever wrote it.
Any signed-in account that does not publish Pure Report — Neutral News can review it, once — before installing it or after. A review from an account that has installed it is marked as one.
Nobody has reviewed this listing. The rating on the card is the mean of the reviews written here and nothing else, so there is no rating until somebody writes the first — which takes a signed-in account that does not publish it, and nothing else.
