What it does

实验规范:新建或修改实验/科研仿真程序,统一单通道波形与频谱、IQ 观察、解调图组及结果保存;用户说“按实验规范来做”“用实验规范”时使用。Build and modify experimental or scientific simulation programs, including reusable MATLAB single-channel waveform/spectrum, IQ observation and demodulation diagnostic plots, result directories, retention, replay, and hardware-free validation. Use for new tests, unified test plotting, future output changes, parameter sweeps, compact/full simulation storage, and offline run analysis. Also reuse the complete MATLAB TX/RX workbench and M8195A/LeCroy adapters when needed. Real instrument operation belongs to link-test.

What this skill changes about the agent has not been set out here as a list. Its SKILL.md, shown below, says it in the author’s own words.

The skill itself

A skill is instructions the model reads, so you can see what you are getting: below is the start of its SKILL.md. The front matter loads with every session, the body loads when the skill triggers, and the whole file comes with the install.

7
8中文调用名为“实验规范”。在本技能适用任务中,“按实验规范来做”或“用实验规范”表示加载本技能;内部标识仍为 standardize-test-project。
9
10Build or adapt experimental programs with a consistent output contract. Reuse the complete TX/RX workbench only when the task needs it. Preserve project-specific hardware safety rules and historical results.
11
12## Workflow
13
141. Read the request, target project's rules, existing entry points and relevant files. Search existing acquisition and experiment implementations before adding code; reuse suitable functions. Reuse the confirmed scope and authorization. A read-only question ends with findings and suggestions; it does not authorize scaffolding, file changes or instrument access.
152. Select the necessary resources:
16 - **General experimental project or output changes:** use [the output standard](references/standard.md). Read sections 1–3 for directories, observations and precision; section 4 for automatic plots/replot; section 5 for analysis, compatibility and safety; section 6 for retention and storage acceptance. Read the whole standard when implementing a complete output lifecycle. Ordinary output or plotting tasks do not load the workbench assets.
17 - **Complete MATLAB TX/RX workbench:** follow [Workbench reuse](#workbench-reuse). Copy its complete dependencies, without also running the generic scaffold.
18 - **Existing project, selected module or plot:** keep its architecture and integrate only the requested module and dependencies. Read the relevant standard sections, and the workbench adaptation guide only if using a workbench module. Plot-only work applies section 4 to the existing source and checks affected normal/compact exports; skip scaffolding, directory migration and unrelated lifecycle tests.
19 - **MATLAB single-channel/IQ observation or demodulation plots:** read [the shared test-plotting contract](references/test-plotting.md) and reuse assets/project-template/code/plotting/. Adapt input data and select panels; do not create another private PSD calculation or waveform/spectrum renderer for each new test. An existing plot-only task needs only the selected helpers and dependencies, not a whole project copy. Python helpers retain their existing interfaces; this shared numeric contract is MATLAB-first.
203. For a new general project, run scripts/scaffold_test_project.py with project path, name and language. Generate README.md and AGENTS.md by default. Keep the main workbench or launcher at root when appropriate; experiment functions belong in the existing source structure and need no separate root launcher or GUI. Use code/, config/, simulation/, measurement/, analysis/, checks/. For existing projects, change future defaults only; keep historical results in place.
214. When changing output writers, reuse compatible project helpers or assets/project-template/code/. New writers use timestamp-first directories, exclusive suffix allocation, visible images/display CSV and flat data/. Helpers expose retention mode; writers choose compact/full payloads, and plotting helpers save lossless replot inputs when the run has data/.
225. Apply [Validation and dry-run](#validation-and-dry-run) to the affected behavior. Report the actual changes, validation, preserved inputs/history, and remaining gaps; source reuse, mock execution and real instrument acceptance are distinct.
23
24Formal project content follows the shared global file policy. New acquisition, sweep, recapture and decoding source goes directly into the project’s formal code locations, even when unverified or used for one experiment. Keep validation status separate. Only one-off task helpers, nonessential drafts and previews belong in 过程文件/任务主题/; experiment execution and reproduction must not depend on it. In a Git project, check the actual repository root, git status --short --untracked-files=all and git check-ignore -v for new source; do not force-add ignored process files. Visibility is not a commit or push. Follow [source and reuse rules](references/standard.md#源码与跨项目复用) for naming, dependencies and provenance. Explicit cleanup retains adopted content and dependencies in formal locations before clearing only that task directory; ordinary completion does not clear it. Do not require a separate output directory.

Why you can read it

Nothing in a skill executes. The client loads the text and the model follows it, so a skill can be audited the way a runbook is — by reading it.

What it costs in context

Skills are not billed by the call. They are paid for in context: every token the instructions occupy is a token your code, your diff and your conversation cannot use. Here is what this one takes and when it takes it.

≈210
always loaded
The name and description, so the model knows the skill exists and when to reach for it.
14,215
on trigger
The instruction body and 10 supporting files, read only when the skill fires.
7.2%
of a 200k window
Ten skills this size would take about 72% of the window before you open a file.
050k100k150k200k context window

14.4k tokens, estimated from the bundle at four bytes to the token, held for the rest of the session once it triggers. Heavy. Teams tend to install this one per project rather than globally, and load it only when the job comes up.

Servers bill, skills cost

A server charges by the month. A skill charges once per session, in context, and then keeps charging it for as long as the session lives.

Before and after

The same question, put to the same model twice: once as it comes, and once with these instructions loaded.

No worked example has been published for this skill yet.

The procedure it runs

The procedure has not been set out here step by step. It is in the body of its SKILL.md: the start of it is shown above, and the whole file comes with the install.

Prose, not code

These steps are written for a model to follow, not executed by a runtime. It can still be told to skip one, and it will say so when it does.

Servers it uses

None. This skill calls no MCP servers at all.

Everything it needs is in the instructions, so it works in a project with nothing connected — the model reads the file and changes how it works with what it can already reach.

Its SKILL.md does not declare which tools it asks the agent for, so what it touches is whatever the instructions themselves ask for — read them before you install it.

What it asks for
Writes filesnot declared
Network accessnot declared

This SKILL.md carries no allowed-tools line, so neither is declared. A skill grants no permissions of its own — it can only ask for tools your client already has.

What it will not do

Every skill is narrow, and the useful ones say where they stop. These are the jobs this one is the wrong tool for.

What this skill is not for has not been published here. Nothing is implied by that: it is a section the author has not filled in.

What is in the bundle

The download carries 11 of the 16 files in its source folder; the list here names 11 files, 147.1 kB on disk. Mostly text — the instructions the model reads — with 5 scripts in it that your client would run only if the instructions tell it to. The other 5 are not in the download, nor are 24 files of types a skill download does not carry — listed after these, with why.

Not in the download

Not carried is a type a skill download does not hold. Marked read: its SKILL.md or scripts name the file, so without it the skill works only in part. Take them from its source.

What is not in it

A skill installs nothing and depends on nothing: it is a folder your client reads. This one carries 5 scripts beside the text, so the download is 11 files — not the whole of its source: 29 files are left out, and the skill reads 5 of them. They are listed under the files, with why.

Install

Installing copies the bundle into your project. Nothing runs at install time — the files sit on disk until the model reads them.

# Test Project Standardizer · 14.4k tokens when loaded · macOS, Linux mkdir -p .claude/skills && t=$(mktemp -d) && curl -fsSL -o "$t/bundle.tar.gz" https://mcprush.com/api/skills/test-project-standardizer/bundle.tar.gz && tar -xzf "$t/bundle.tar.gz" -C "$t" && [ -d "$t/test-project-standardizer" ] && { [ ! -e .claude/skills/test-project-standardizer ] || { mv .claude/skills/test-project-standardizer "$t/.previous" && echo "Previous copy moved to $t/.previous"; }; } && mv "$t/test-project-standardizer" .claude/skills/ && echo "Installed .claude/skills/test-project-standardizer"
On Windows, or any OS with Node 20+
npx mcprush@latest skill add sanantonio021/test-project-standardizer

Windows PowerShell says 'running scripts is disabled on this system'? Run Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope CurrentUser RemoteSigned once, or type npx.cmd instead of npx (codex.cmd, gemini.cmd, grok.cmd likewise). PowerShell 7 needs neither. Writes to .claude/skills/test-project-standardizer/ in the current project. For every project instead, run mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && t=$(mktemp -d) && curl -fsSL -o "$t/bundle.tar.gz" https://mcprush.com/api/skills/test-project-standardizer/bundle.tar.gz && tar -xzf "$t/bundle.tar.gz" -C "$t" && [ -d "$t/test-project-standardizer" ] && { [ ! -e ~/.claude/skills/test-project-standardizer ] || { mv ~/.claude/skills/test-project-standardizer "$t/.previous" && echo "Previous copy moved to $t/.previous"; }; } && mv "$t/test-project-standardizer" ~/.claude/skills/ && echo "Installed ~/.claude/skills/test-project-standardizer" (macOS, Linux) — or add --global to the npx line. The curl line replaces .claude/skills/test-project-standardizer/ only after the download succeeds, so files left there by another skill of the same name, or by an older release, do not mix in. A copy already there is moved aside, not deleted, and the line prints where. It appears as standardize-test-project in Gemini CLI, Codex, Copilot and Grok (its own name); Claude Code lists it by the folder name, test-project-standardizer. Not in this download: 29 files of its source, 5 of them read by its SKILL.md or scripts (the full list, and why). Take them from its source.

Which clients pick it up on their own

A skill is a folder of text. Most of these read a skills folder and pick it up without being told; the rest take the same folder another way — an upload in the app, a parameter on an API call — and then choose it by its description just the same.

Versions

Its author publishes no version number, so there is nothing here to pin to: what you install is the folder as it stands today. Instructions change more often than APIs do — a skill can be rewritten entirely without anything it depends on moving.

Pinning

Nothing to pin to: this skill carries no version number of its own. What you install is what the folder holds on the day you install it.
