It needs WHOOP_IOS_BEARER_TOKEN, WHOOP_COGNITO_REFRESH_TOKEN, WHOOP_EMAIL: this reads them from your environment, so export them first.

Installation
Where are you running it?
Every route below installs the same thing and ends at the same approval screen. This one runs on your machine: your client starts Totem as a process under your own user, with your files and your network, so the tool surface below is what it can do to your computer rather than to a server somewhere else. Claude Code registers it in one command; --scope user makes it available in every project. Claude Code reads WHOOP_IOS_BEARER_TOKEN (Whoop Cognito access token. Obtain via `totem auth` from the repo, which prompts for your Whoop email + password + SMS MFA code, then writes both tokens to a lo), WHOOP_COGNITO_REFRESH_TOKEN (Whoop Cognito refresh token (~30 day lifetime). Obtained alongside the bearer token from `totem auth`. When this expires, run `totem auth` to get a fresh pair), WHOOP_EMAIL (Your Whoop account email. Used only by `totem auth` — the running server reads tokens, not credentials) from your environment each time it starts the server, so the value stays out of its config: export them in your shell profile (macOS, Linux), or run setx WHOOP_IOS_BEARER_TOKEN …, setx WHOOP_COGNITO_REFRESH_TOKEN …, setx WHOOP_EMAIL … and open a new terminal (Windows).
